Building a cross-chain product? Meet Chain Signatures: the latest programmable MPC technology which enables cross-chain protocols to support every chain (even non-smart contract chains), eliminate the risk of bridging, and unify user experience. 

Demonstrate a creative use case of the Chain Signatures API in which you use a NEAR account to sign transactions on any given chain, whether it’s Ethereum or Bitcoin. Get creative and explore the beginnings of chain abstraction, where users can do everything from a single account and don’t have to think about which chain they are on!


### **Ideas**

* Account Aggregation: control multiple accounts or sign transactions on different chains using only a NEAR account
* Multichain Account Abstraction: a single NEAR account that controls multiple accounts across different chains, without the user realizing the involvement of multiple chains; users manage their private keys on the NEAR account 
* Protect accounts on other chains with a NEAR smart contract that can only call an MPC to sign when certain conditions are met

The NEAR AI Governance Challenge calls for visionaries at the intersection of AI and blockchain technology. Your task is to devise a system where AI, possibly through large language models (LLMs) or other advanced AI models, can receive feedback from its constituents within the NEAR ecosystem and, in response, formulate, adjust, or repeal governance rules.
We seek innovative Web3 applications demonstrating how AI could interact with blockchain to perform governance functions. # Overview

Fhenix is an L2 on ETH that uses Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to provide confidentiality. For our track, we are looking for developers who are interested in building full-stack applications in the Fhenix ecosystem that use encrypted computation. This can be anything from on-chain poker, dark pools, confidential voting, etc. We’re open to ideas and look forward to seeing what you and your team come up with!

# What is required to complete this prize?

We require a full stack application demonstration, live hosting is preferred but not mandatory. However, creating an application that others can play around with from their own machines would be beneficial for the team's prospects of being selected.

A Github repository with a history of commits is also required. In addition to a corresponding readme that makes it easy for developers, judges and our team to understand the overarching architecture of the project submission.

# What does success look like? What are possible features that you are looking for?

A successful submission will follow all of the requirements. We are looking for projects that have the potential to contribute something new and creating to the Fhenix ecosystem. This means that we would ideally like to see full stack applications that are ready to be hosted on a public domain and use encrypted computation. These projects should bring something new to the ecosystem, not specifically the field. 

# What is the impact on your organization by a team working on this bounty?

We are looking for projects that we can feature in terms of our ecosystem growth. Potential for roll over bounties and grants are things that can be considered as well. Intertwining dev product submission into our larger ecosystem assets and point systems is something that we would like to explore. 

# What are the UI/UX Design Requirements

For UI/UX requirements, the simpler and easier to understand the better. Ideally we would like developers to begin to think about ways that state of the art account abstraction advancements can be integrated into their projects as well. The only major technical requirement is successful integration of the fhenix.js library into the client side of the application submission. Ideally we would like to see a clean styling (in terms of design principals) that are specifically tailored to the individual contracts and applications. It would be great to exemplify how much easier it is to create more advancement encrypted states using fhe vs zk.

# What are examples of use cases you are looking to solve?

- On-chain Poker: (Gaming) leveraging FHE to preserve card privacy, then reveal and compare the cards at the end of the round.
- Dark pool: (DeFi) Large trades can be encrypted to prevent market panic and MEV. Using FHE, encrypted price and amount can be matched between buyers and sellers.
- Confidential betting: (DeFi) Users can place bets in an encrypted manner. FHE is used to encrypt the bet value, which will be revealed at the end of the round.
- Confidential DAO: (DAO) Token or NFT holders can cast votes to proposals in a confidential manner. A few things can be confidential using FHE: token amount, voting choice, who to delegate votes to, etc.
- Confidential survey: (Tool) On-chain survey: FHE can be used to encrypt answers or (ipfs url) so that only the survey creator can decrypt and see.
- Real time predictions / oracle: (DeFi) Participants can contribute their predictions in an encrypted manner without seeing the answer of other participants. FHE allows for participants to submit encrypted values, and compute the average of the submissions in an encrypted and ongoing manner.
- Confidential payment streaming: (Tool) Streamed payments can be confidential (sometimes it’s better to not know how much your colleagues are getting paid!). FHE can encrypt the multiplier and allow the recipient to withdraw the available amount based elapsed time.
- Confidential DID: (Identity) Store your personal data on chain in an encrypted manner and allow other dApps to interact with them. A trusted entity can mint a soul bound NFT with, for example, the date of birth as encrypted metadata (in the form of time stamp). Then, a user can use the soul bound token as authentication to interact with a casino app (ex: 18+ requirement). The casino contract checks if the encrypted date of birth is > 18 years old (in the form of time stamp).
- Confidential Treasury: (DAO) Treasuries can hide their token holdings (amount), and how much they want to delegate. FHE is applied to private ERC-20 tokens.
- Confidential ERC-20: (Tool) The amount of tokens held by each address is private. FHE is used to encrypt the token amount, while still allowing for functions such as transfers, and allowances in a confidential manner. A wrapper contract can also be used to convert an existing public ERC-20 to private ERC-20. This can be a great solution for loyalty programs with privacy (ex: Starbucks points).
- Confidential Metadata for NFTs: (NFT) Metadata of the NFT can be hidden from the public but viewable by the owner. FHE is used to encrypt the metadata, and allow for dynamic properties to be triggered in an encrypted manner. This concept can also be very interesting for new types of games where players' stats can be hidden. Lots of room for creativity here!
- Confidential Key Recovery (Social): (Tool) Simple private key recovery mechanism with your friends. Confidential key is encrypted, added to a recovery contract, and a list of your friends’ addresses need to sign to allow a new address to recover (decrypt) the key. Your friends can pass the new address as a transaction input.
- Confidential Data with Access Control: (Data) Users with different access control permissions (admin, manager, employee, etc.) can view on-chain states. This could be interesting to track performances, scores, accounting, etc. Access rules can be customized via explicit re-encryption.
- Password 2FA: (Tool) Smart contract wallets can have a password 2FA. The password (encrypted) is stored on-chain. To execute a transaction, user needs to pass in a ciphertext of the password generated on the client side, which will be compared on-chain.
- Minesweeper: (Gaming) The classic minesweeper game. The amount of adjacent mines to a square could be summed up in an encrypted manner without revealing their positions.
- Rock Paper Scissors Extensions: (Gaming) Each player can choose a move then submit them in the form of ciphertext. The result is revealed once both players have submitted their move. This can be leveraged into general combat engines such as Pokemon. 
- Confidential Messaging: (Tool) Encrypted messages (although expensive) can be sent between addresses with specific decryption rules.
- Confidential content gallery: (Tool) Encrypted content can be decrypted by subscribers.
- Confidential key/ seed phrase backup: (Tool) Your private key can be stored on-chain in an encrypted manner, and decrypted by specific addresses or based on rules/conditions.
- Confidential Machine Learning: (AI/ML) Confidential input model applications, as well as federated weighting obfuscation.

inEVM brings additional value to cross-chain dApps and allows applications to achieve true composability across multiple networks. It allows Ethereum developers to interact with the broader blockchain universe and to scale further. All dApps are welcome to participate! ICP offers two key capabilities for cross-chain integration: threshold ECDSA signing and HTTPS outcalls. In addition, features such as large smart contract storage (400GB), fast consensus (\~1s), high execution capacity, timers,  on-chain encryption (vetKeys), a bridgeless native Bitcoin integration, and decentralized frontend hosting makes it possible to build cross-chain dapps that aren’t possible to build anywhere else. 

# 📕Guidance

Building multi chain applications with ICP involves no trusted bridge, hub or any intermediary service.  ICP canister smart contracts can generate and sign for an Ethereum address via threshold ECDSA. ICP canister smart contracts can call APIs directly without any use of oracles via HTTPS Outcalls. These two key capabilities enable a whole new range of cross-chain dapps to be built on ICP.


For this bounty you can:

* Build a cross-chain dapp between ICP and at least 1 ETH Settlement network and EVM chain (including but not limited to Optimism, Arbitrum, Metis, zkSync, OpBNB, Celestia, Scroll, Manta, Polygon, Base, etc.).
* The business case for the dapp can be sound.
* The dapp can use threshold ECDSA for key management (i.e. a canister on ICP controlling one or more Ethereum EOAs).
* The dapp can fetch some EVM on-chain data from any chain.
* The dapp can sign and execute some transaction from within a canister to any EVM chain.
* Explain the use case and benefits of this setup.
* We also accept submissions that do not take advantage of the cross chain/signing capabilities



# 🧑‍🎓We judge this bounty based on:

* The overall business case of the dapp, i.e. how sound is the business model, how innovative is the product etc.
* How well it makes use of ICP technology.
* The overall quality of the code.
* The design of the user interface and the user experience
* Bonus points for using cross chain/signing capabilities of ICP
* Bonus points for providing feedback on the developer experience.


**Further acceptance criteria:**

* Can use threshold ECDSA and HTTPS outcall capabilities of IC
* Readme that explains the project and provides information on how to deploy and use.
* Open source code (MIT or Apache-2.0 license)
* Canister ID(s) of deployment on ICP.

* Utilize ICP as a high-performance side chain or co-processor.

* Cross-chain governance for DAOs. Use threshold ECDSA to enable cross-chain governance.
* Cross-chain arbitrage.
* Fair minting of EVM NFTs.
